From the history,The religion Chritstian came in

Antoine Aris Van De Loosdrecht from dutch 1913 

    With the help of his wife, Alida, Antoine opened a school and established good relations with traditional leaders and local regional leaders in the missionary work he did. Antoine's approach to the Toraja community at that time could be considered similar to the way Wali Songo spread Islam on the island of Java

The Dutch government itself named the Toraja tribe in 1990.

i have some local wisdom story in Tana Toraja like a the story the origin of the Toraja tribe The beginning was an immigrant from China with Vietnam, where they first lived in the coastal region in Sulawesi, then as time went by they moved into the highlands and until now it was still being inhabited by the Toraja tribe

at the beggining of my information, i have notice Aluk To'dolo Right?

    Aluk Todolo is the original belief owned by the Toraja tribe. This term itself comes from the word aluk which means rules or ways of life, and todolo which means ancestors. Thus, Aluk Todolo means the religion of the ancestors, or the ways/rules of life of the ancestors,and for Hindudharma themselves they are only clarified so that they can attach to official religions make them safe from un religious or non-God accusations.

    In some traditions that are carried out every year, of course, they contain religious elements inherent in the Tana Toraja community such as the traditional Rambu Solo ceremony which is often held every year, where the purpose of the ceremony is to honor the spirit or soul of a deceased person and lead him to the spirit realm or said to be a place of perfection of human spirits after death.

    As for the traditional ma,nene ceremony which is often held every 3 years which aims as a form of respect for ancestors, the implementation of this ritual activity they will go to their deceased relatives and replace their clothes with new ones and dress up the service like a living person.
